PacePack

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

PacePack is a group interval timer for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app stores, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

Axel Grefslie, Norway, is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].

What we store and why

We use this data only to provide the app: syncing sessions, history, stats and Pro. The legal basis is the performance of our agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).

Who processes it for us

Data outside the EU/EEA

Some processors (Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare) are based in or may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Support emails

Emails sent to [email protected] are forwarded to and stored in the publisher's email inbox, and kept as long as needed to answer and follow up.

What we don't collect

No location, health data, contacts or advertising identifiers. No tracking, ads or analytics, and we never sell data. This website sets no cookies.

On your phone only

The camera is used only to scan a session's QR code; nothing is stored or sent. Voice and other settings stay on your phone.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. A session left in the lobby or paused ends on its own after 2 hours. Its records stay in the participants' history until they delete their accounts.

Deleting your data

In the app, sign in with Apple in Profile, then tap Delete account. Your account and its data are deleted. Other runners keep their own history of sessions you shared.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy to take elsewhere, or object to how we use it: email [email protected]. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

Children

PacePack is not directed at children under 13.
